Playgroup LA 6/12/18
First play date at Elizabeth's house in LA: Her two boys, ages 3 and 6, plus the two lovely British sisters ages 2 and 4, and our adorable new addition: the not quite 2-year-old Renaissance-Faire-raised prodigy. To supervise today were Karen Sanz "everyone's favorite curly-haired wacky auntie," the amazing "nothing phases me" Raquel from Beautiful Minds center for autism, resident mom Elizabeth "I'm so tired I'll just stay behind the camera," and the British girls' plucky mum as a special guest. What a group!
There was some outdoor sport in the shared courtyard. The 3 year girl old across the way wasn't home, but her mom has graciously arranged to share her playhouse. We have our own swing with ladder and trapeze attachments on our side, plus trikes and bikes and sporting goods. And we didn't even make it to the back patio with the pirate ship and garden and mini ferris wheel!
Indoors, music toys were discovered, the queenly siamese cat in residence kept watch over everything and tolerated a great deal of petting without complaint - and some kids even sat still for lunch! Well, one kid. A 2 year old sitting still an eating her entire meal? She really is a prodigy.
Can't wait for next visit, and more pics of the space to be posted soon.
